Please keep your pets indoors as much as you can during frigid and/or snowy conditions! They can get frostbite just like us. When they come in from a walk, please clean dogs’ feet of any caked snow between the pads, and rinse their feet to remove any ice melt products, which can be caustic. Sweaters and coats are a necessity, unless your dog is built for winter – like a Husky. And don’t let pets eat snow – it usually causes gastrointestinal upset. Be cautious this winter, but don’t forget to have fun, too!
